Kew Great Pagoda and Bluebells

A trip to Kew Gardens today to see the bluebells which are out in full force and to also climb the Great Pagoda which has recently re-opened to the public.

I'm scared of heights but was determined to do this and thankfully it's done so well that it's not as terrifying as I thought it would be. You just have to get up the 250+ steps...

Once up there the views are amazing and what was a gloomy day turned very sunny as we climbed and we got to see for miles & miles - a real treat.

Afterwards we walked for miles looking at the bluebells and rhododendron absorbing all the colour and sunshine.

My companion used to work at Kew and it was good to explore parts I hadn't before and see things I hadn't realised were there... and to meet the resident cat.
