I got the see the Yayoi Kusama 'Infinity Mirror Rooms' exhibition at the Tate Modern last night and I'm not sure if I'll ever recover.
I was last in one of her rooms in 2018 and it was amazing so I knew this would be good… but not how good.
Through a series of events I got to be the only person there and, instead of having just 2 minutes in each one, I got to stay in them until I wanted to leave and only did so when my senses were completely overwhelmed and I couldn't take it any more.
If you ever get a chance to be in any of them leap at it- it's an overwhelming & joyous experience which was just what I needed.
