There aren't many people I'd stay up until midnight to listen talk, but Teresa Sullivan is definitely one of them.
I first met Teresa back on 2011 and have many fond memories of chatting, beading, cooking & laughing with her and she has remained one of my favourite people, teachers & artists.
But sadly life got in the way and it's been a long time since I've seen or spoken to her, so when I heard she was giving an online talk titled 'Beading through the madness' I knew I had to stay up and see her. And she didn't disappoint in any way.
She was just as funny, knowledgable, kind & inspiring as ever (plus as super groovy as always) and I left ready to bead all new things for myself, and was reminded how well we're all doing even just surviving at the moment. I urge you to check her out by visiting her website.
She also has a shop on Etsy selling beads with some incredible things plus a vintage store on Etsy (None Blacker Vintage) so do check both of them out.
Whilst waiting for Teresa to speak I was busy beading some new demonstrating samples for a current class, and pondering what to do with some beadwork for a future class.
This sparkly Lemon Blossoms variation has sat around for over a year with its thread still attached as I debate what to do with it next.
I'm not teaching the class for nearly 3 months so there's still time for it to reach its final form.... I have some Lemon Blossoms classes on my website at the moment but more will be added in a couple of months so make sure you sign-up to my newsletter to find out when
