I love the embroidery done by Kraken Kreations and so was really excited to treat myself to commissioning one from her.

As I have recurrent Optic Neuritis (from my MS) and recurrent Central Serous Chorio-Retinopathy (CSCR) I chose a diagram of an eye with those areas labelled as they would be in an anatomy textbook.

It's been wonderful watching the artwork develop over time and now to have it on my hands ready to hang it my office where I can see all the intricate stitching & shading in the piece...

I've never done anything like that before but the whole journey was a joy so why not think about seeing if an artist you love can make something unique for you? It was incredibly affordable and may be more within your reach than you realise and you get a unique piece of artwork and to support an artist.
