Brittle Making

I wish you could smell this...

I've been making brittle for sea salt, pine nut & rosemary ice-cream and the whole house smells amazing (the recipe is from Kitty Travers' (La Grotta Ices) wonderful book on ice cream & sorbet making...

The brittle is now hardening and I just need to stop myself from eating it all before I make the ice-cream...
