I simply love virtual classes.
Of course nothing beats being in a shop and being able to browse beads and see beadwork & hold beadwork but there are lots of benefits:
- In a virtual class I can not only still assist you and check your beadwork etc but I can zoom in on your beadwork better than I can in-person
- You get to see all demonstrations from the viewpoint of me actually beading without having to crowd around or watch from a funny angle
- There's no venue accessibility issues
- All demonstrations are up-close and larger than life
- You never miss a tip or explanation from me so can relax if that's something that worries you in an in-person class
- There's no travel so you can have more sleep, start the class less stressed or have more money for beading shopping!
- You may get to sit in your usual beading chair with the lighting you're used to etc
- If you have issues with caring for others you're not having to leave them alone in the house and can of course take breaks any time you need them
- There's no leaving class early worried about traffic, train times or driving in the dark!
- You never have to have your video or microphone on if you don't want to - you still get to see and hear everything
I'm finding that people get a lot more done in a virtual class with is a revelation and a testament to how good they can be!
Here's some of what was beaded in yesterdays classes which were the opening ones to a 3-session long Estrella class.
