I have a very bad habit of making notes of exhibitions I want to see... and then promptly forgetting about them until they have finished.

I made a note last November of the Jeff Koons exhibition coming to Oxford and, though it's crossed my mind many times, it was only this week that I really looked at it... and realised it ended this Sunday. Cue a mad rush to make sure I could head there asap as it's over ten years since I saw an exhibition of his work, and I'd have been so annoyed if I'd had missed this.

So yesterday I headed off to Oxford in the pouring rain and it was worth the wait and the travelling.

I loved getting to see Balloon Venus in real life and to finally see one of the Gazing Ball works.
