I love these beaded strawberries I made a few years back but people are always amazed that they were designed by me. Apparently they don't look like my work?

I'll let you into a little secret... they were meant to be geometric beaded beads and they would not go how I wanted... so I took a step back and realised they looked like strawberries and with a little bit of adjustment my Strawberry Delight pattern was born!

So, never give up even when things don't seem to be going the way you want them... you never know what you can turn that into.

Or, to put it another way 'when life gives you wonky beaded beads turn them into strawberries'. I'm sure that saying will catch-on soon enough...
