I absolutely love having friends all over the World but it does mean I can go years without seeing some of them and, especially as I'm not the best at emailing & texting, I miss them and our chats.

So, when I knew a dear friend was going to be in the UK for a couple of days there was no way I could resist travelling with her and getting to share some time & laughs together.

That's why I find myself in Bath today enjoying the sunny weather and lovely companionship.

The highlight of the day was a trip to Menu Gordon Jones where you don't know what you'll be served and, as you can see, our menu was varied and wide-ranging. Add in a wine flight, and hours of chat, and we had a fabulous evening together and the miles disappeared.
