A trip to Long Beach today to spend time with Franklin Martin.
I've never visited here so it was lovely to get to see it, storybook homes and fake islands and all.
But the treat was spending time with Franklin who is a lovely man and a very talented beader so it was great to have some time together to catch-up and talk beading.
We spent hours talking beads & life (we hadn't even noticed hours had passed and it had gotten dark we were so busy chatting!) before I had to tear myself away to head to the airport to fly home and sleep for a long time.
It was a beautiful day to end a beautiful trip.
