Colour Synchronicity

One thing that always tickles me when I teach is that you can often match people's chosen bead colours to what they're wearing that day or the fabric colours of the beading board they're using.

Even when I've spoken to people and discovered that the beading board isn't theirs, or not a colour they would usually have chosen, all of those little things have a subconscious effect on the colours we choose each day. I know that often we do stick to the same colours as they're what we love and so it's not surprising that we veer towards those, but the 'direct match without realising' phenomenon is really common and I love seeing it.

Today I was trying out a few different beading colour schemes but wasn't happy until I settled on this blue and green... and then I looked at the blouse I was wearing and it all made sense.
