Today was a day filled with colour & senses overload beginning with brunch with a friend and then heading to one of my favourite places in the world - Cooper Hewitt.

This is my 3rd visit to the museum and each time they have had incredible exhibitions on. Last time the theme was 'Beauty' and it featured lots of striking beadwork. This time the main exhibitions are Saturated (all about colour) and Senses: Design beyond vision.

Next up was a fun reunion with Suzanne Golden (view her website to see lots of great variations she has beaded of my projects) before dinner with Suzanne and Cliff Swain-Salomon (a previous student who I met in California and whose beautiful work is now getting the recognition it deserves) and his lovely husband.

Then it was onto a new hotel to meet up with my holiday companions who have just flown in and who I'm excited to spend the next few days with,
