Before heading home today we popped to see the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
We saw the outside last night in the dark, and it was incredible, so we had high hopes for the inside today... and it was better than expected.
The sheer scale of the building when you go in is astonishing and then add in the amazing use of colour, light and art (and how the light alters the colours in and on the building) and you could spend hours here in admiration.
