Iskra Box At Charisma

A lovely day at Charisma Beads today teaching my Iskra Box class.

I've been itching to get this out there for many years now but until now all my geometric boxes have been much been hidden under-wraps. It's funny that the first thing I ever designed from scratch was a geometric beaded box way back in 2001 which is when I discovered all the geometric beading techniques I've been exploring every since!

I'm looking forward to working on my new Geometric Beaded Vessels book over the next year and turning all the prototypes and samples I have into finished pieces and updating previously finished pieces using new ideas I've developed over the years along with new knowledge, and even new materials which didn't exist, or I didn't have access to or know existed back when I first beaded them - exciting times indeed.

Today it was great to see all the Iskra Box variations begin to develop and I can't wait to see lots of them being made all over the world bringing with them some geometric, sparkling joy.
