They say there's no rest for the wicked and today I'm headed off to my 3rd trip to New York in 6 months so you can draw your own conclusions...

My terror of flying is still strong but a combination of strong prescription drugs & gripping the arm rests so tight I gave myself cramp in my hands and arms, seemed to get me through and after a few hours I'm relaxed enough to look out of the window only to see us being surely far too close to another plane racing along. Cue more arm rest gripping.

But soon we have landed safely and our family holiday has begin. Even though I have been to New York 8 times previously this is my first trip for purely pleasure and I'm looking forward to sharing all my favourite places with my family and catching-up with friends.

Sadly before I left I didn't have time to sit down and plan all my posts for March Meet The Maker so am having to improvise as I go. Today's theme is: Shelfie

Were I at home I would take an artful photo of all the colourful and crazy things that sit on the shelf beside me as I work on my computer but instead I'll have to settle for this shelf of alcohol from the bar I'm sitting in at the moment...
