The sun is shining and my legs need stretching so a long leisurely walk around the beautiful Aldenham reservoir was a perfect way to spend a few hours today.
We walked through woods, sat on the reservoir walls and disappointed swans and geese through our lack of food for them and walked off our pub lunch.
I spent my evening working on my Emily Peacock tapestry whilst catching-up on The Great British Sewing Bee and gazing adoringly at the lovely Patrick Grant.
