Sale On At Bead-Patterns.Com

My flu is slowly shifting and I can see an end in sight.

In preparation for all the work I have planned for the next few months I am retiring some instructions from Bead-Patterns.com where I have been selling instructions for about 8 years. I'll soon be adding all of my current patterns to the site but in the meantime you can check out my 'Going, going, gone' sale there where everything is between $1.50 and $3 (and lots are free).

These sale items will only be available until the 5th February when they will disappear...maybe for good...

I was nice to sit and look at all these patterns and remember designing and beading them. I still have a lot of the beadwork I have ever made and to me they are miniature time capsules which when I look at them and hold them transport me back in time. When I made many of these my work was very different and the geometic work which I was exploring behind the scenes was less apparent.

I remember doing lots of research for some of the patterns, specifically the Celtic cross and Manx ones. Hours of research looking into the historic use of patterns and the history of stone-carving. if you're interested in the subject then this is a good place to start- and who knows, maybe one day I'll get to the Isle of Man to see some in person.
