Well... we have some news...

As I'm sure you're either aware, or can imagine, working on a book can be a long, exciting, tiring, invigorating, exasperating project... and this one has been all of those and so much more in so many wonderful ways.

But, it has become clear to us that the book wasn't able to continue simply as 'the book' and had to become two separate books (which as a lover of beading and books and therefore especially beading books this is very exciting to me!)

So- put simply Kate is now working on one book and I'm working on another.

I've sent everyone who ordered from me an email but just in case you don't check that email address then here's the downlow:

The plan
There will be two books. One 'Contemporary Geometric Beadwork' being created by Kate McKinnon and one (title still to come!) by me.
Put simply the book was just growing out of control and we had to make a decision as to how to move forward in the best way. No single book could possibly contain all we wished it could contain!

What happens next:

If you ordered from Kate:
You will receive 'Contemporary Geometric Beadwork' which will contain the 2 projects from me you have already received. I'm not working on this book so can't tell you exactly what else it will contain- but I for one am very excited to see it when it comes out!

If you ordered from me:
You will received a book completely by me containing absolutely all of the ideas, techniques, projects etc I have previously promised and featured on my blog- plus more.

Currently I expect there to be at least 23 projects in there. Also included will be the same 2 projects (Caldera Bangle and Triangle ring) you have already received.

In addition to the book, everyone who has pre-ordered with me will also receive extra projects which will not be available to anyone who buys the book at a later date, or in any other way- these are exclusive to you.

However:
If you have ordered from me, but don't want to receive my book, if you let me know soon you can instead receive Kate's book when it comes out. This is a very kind offer from Kate!

If you ordered a kit:
You will still receive exactly the same kit as exactly the same projects will go into my book that the kit is designed for. You can choose to have the kit sent with the book when it comes out, or earlier if you want the beads but are happy to wait for the projects they go with.

I hope that's clear and you're as excited as we are that there will be two brand new books very soon which will contain an incredible amount of new projects, beadwork, photos, techniques etc. not seen before.
