This week of beading ropes, tubes and spirals has sent us all loopy and so as a reward for getting this far, I've decided to teach everyone how to make a RickRack bangle. This will appear as a project in Contemporary Geometric Beadwork and I'm interested to see just what everyone does with it.
And what a treat! I get to see so many coloured variations and sparks of ideas from people, and also get the reward of knowing that not only does the project work, but so do my instructions- phew. Lots of people began bangles but some beaded smaller pieces, the exact use of which will become apparent soon...but for now I have to keep it underwraps...
This afternoon I needed air, colour and nature so headed out into the grounds for a walk with my camera and was rewarded with many amazing sights.
