When I first started beading, back in February 2001,  I bought so many books on beading amulet purses and covering wooden needle cases as that seemed to be all that was out there in the UK at the time. Though I beaded oodles of amulet purses I never did cover a needle case, until now.

I'm currently working on class ideas for 2013 and one of them is a set of needle cases using geometric ideas which also have jewellery to match. If you're like me, and get through lots of beading needles, and always have tubes of them around you at any one time, it made sense to me to at least try and make them attractive as I spend so much time staring at them on my mat.

These are the first two complete and each of them will have variations which take the basic idea and really run with it.
