Weirdness in East London

Yesterday was a busy day with a trip out of London to sunny Ware for all sorts of cosmetic body modifiations at Nutz Tattoo, and then onto East London for dinner at The Pale Blue Door.

It all looks fairly innocent on the website, but as soon as I stumbled across the venue down an alley-way I knew it wasn't going to be an ordinary evening out...

I have debated how to put the evening into words and I'm still not sure I can. I can think of random occurances, but to turn it into a narrative is proving impossible.

Instead all I can say is there was some really good food; lots of Madonna songs; a fake olympian was hung from the ceiling; at one point I had to dance with a man in drag who was at least 20 inches taller than me in his heels; and much fun was had by all.

Just your usual Wednesday night in Dalston then.
