All Done

I have put the final touches to the last of my pieces for StitchnCraft Beads's Treasure Challenge and it's all about to go into the post.

I think I can show photos, but rather than spoil the surprise for any of you going to see them in the studio in August or at the event this Saturday, I'm only showing a little peek.

I have loved doing the challenge (ok, not all of my emotions for it have been love!) It has really taken me out of my comfort zone and I am delighted to say I stuck to my own personal challenge of not using any geometric techniques, not a single Delica bead and absolutely not using any projects I have done before- or even referencing them in any way. I let myself go crazy and play with the materials we were given and it was a real treat to get to play knowing I was never going to have to write up or diagram any of the pieces.

I really couldn't care less if I do well, or even if anyone else likes the pieces, I got eough pleasure out of having fun with my beading it was worth all the hard work.

Here's to the next challenge!
