After what seems like an eternity of gloomy weather a heatwave has struck London and everything feels that much better for it.
Whilst very sweatily walking back from aerial yoga tonight I spotted The Shard gleaming in the sunshine- not that you can easily miss it. Its size dwarves almost everything else in London and on my last flight into Heathrow it was jaw-dropping seeing how it stuck up into the sky. I can't wait for its viewing platform to open.
Actually scrap that- it costs £24.95 to go up. No wonder it seems no tickets have sold.
