I was back at The Make Lounge today for a class on making a kimono top.

I'm really eager to improve my sewing skills and this class covering using a patterns, seams, hems and much more seemed perfect. I just wish the pattern sizing hadn't been so off and I had gone home with something wearable!

Oh well, I learnt a lot today and am getting much more confident in using a sewing machine and approaching projects but really like having someone there to ask questions and provide guidance.

It was a long class and by the end I think we were all a bit frazzled and keen to get out in the fresh air and away from slippy, slidy fabrics. So it was onto Browns and a well earned freshing drink to end the day.
