My last few hours in New York before I fly home.
After that it's a trip to Barnes and Noble where I fall in love with an incredible book on one of my favourite food and drink substances - salt.
I don't use salt willy-nilly in cooking but as a great flavour all of its own and have my favourites for certain uses but until I picked up this book I had no idea there was such variety in the world.
Unfortunately I have to be mindful of my luggage allowance so leave the book behind for now.
Lastly it's on to lunch at a great Thai restaurant before leaving for the airport and home.
