Working On The Move

Off to Arundel today to take photos for issue 22 of Bead and once again problems on the trains result in my journey taking 5 hours- double what it should.

But fortunately I have planned ahead. I wanted to make a variation of a necklace which is both a project in the next issue and also what I'm teaching this weekend.

I had planned to make it sitting on the train but figured standing on the cold platform will do. Cue me working out a system of passing samples from one coat pocket to another and getting a little production line going! By the time the train arrived it was nearly all done and I could sit and read the rest of the way.

I had decided to theme all of the project photos for this issue around colour too and had spent the last week gathering appropriate props.

One of them were those great paint sample cards you get at the DIY shop and they worked perfectly for the Klimtesque project I was working on yesterday.
