Today is my last day in Paris and after a lie-in I head off to the Pompidou Centre for another dose of art.
With a few hours to fill before my train I decide to try and find beads.
This is my 4th or so visit to Paris, and despite the fact that everytime before I come I look up bead shops on the internet, I have never managed to find them- and today is no different.
I knew I wasn't in for much of a chance as it being August means a lot of shops in Paris are shut but after many hours wandering around all I seem to find are old prostitues.
Seriously, did all the bead shops turn into brothels?!?!?
After the 3rd time of going to turn into a bead shop and being met by a scary, scantily-glad woman I gave up and headed for the big department stores instead. Consoling myself with the hope that unless the credit crunch had gone seriously wrong they would still be there!
After lots of browsing I ended up in the goumet food section and came across these wonderful chocolates (from Patisserie Sadaharu) - what great colours!
I sneaked a few extra pics and of course ended up buying a couple...
