I spent today at Roll Britannia as a volunteer- not a roller girl myself yet- I've still got a lot of practising to do first and then fingers crossed I'm good enough.
It was great to watch the bouts, cheer on the good skaters- no matter what team they were on, spend the day with the fab Lisa Margreet, indulge in some shopping for funky pants and even some great roller and skull patches to sew on a denim skirt.
By the end of the day I was exhausted with sore feet and just about made it home before falling asleep- bang went my plans for beading the evening away!
