Beaded Eye Necklace
This necklaces mixes a herringbone rope with an unsualy method of transfering to peyote stitch to add 'eye beads' along the necklace length.
This 8-page tutorial contains full instructions and tips as well as check lists for all tools, materials and techniques needed to help you shop and plan.
A knowledge of both herringbone and peyote stitch is needed.
This project was originally published in the January 2009 Beadworkers Guild journal. However these instructions are more detailed with extra diagrams and photos to help you in your beading.
