Today was a hectic day of emails, packing beads and dealing with life so when it got to 4pm and I hadn't stopped to eat or drink all day the wonderful Mr Jean Power stepped in with the perfect cure: food and drink prepared by someone else.

I'm busy packing up my new Caldera Kits and as they contain 75 different highlight colours I'm having a lot of fun choosing the colours for each one - and falling in love with each different one I pack.

A visit to Essex today to teach my Sticks & Stones class and as always it was great to see the progression as everyone learnt CRAW and then moved onto making components for their finished pieces.

Yesterday we travelled to France to escape for a bit, catch-up on some sleep and feel some peace, only to have the news of the night's awful events keep me awake all night as the horror unfolded and my heart broke at the reintroduction of fear to Europe.
