Yesterday we travelled to France to escape for a bit, catch-up on some sleep and feel some peace, only to have the news of the night's awful events keep me awake all night as the horror unfolded and my heart broke at the reintroduction of fear to Europe.
It cast a surreal and sad pall over our weekend as more news unfolded but we went on and did all the thrift shopping and geocaching we could find time for before snuggling down to sleep and hope to wake tomorrow to a better day.
