There I was enjoying Summer and our London heatwave when bam - my mind had to switch to Christmas and get finalising the project for my Christmas 2016 Secret Beadalong.

As always it's been a work in progress for a long time but the time had come to narrow down options, make decisions and get ordering beads.

All of that is now done and I'm excited to say that today is the public launch of my kit and pattern.

I launched it yesterday to purchasers of previous years, and previous beadalongs, and I'm delighted that 50% of the kit stock has sold in under 24 hours.

This year the kits are available in 3 different colour schemes:

• Golds & reds (contains over 35g of 24k gold-plated beads)
• Silvers & blues (contains over 35g of Palladium & silver plated beads)
• Reds & greens

Each of which contains:

• 26g of size 15 Delica beads in 2 colours
• 10g of size 15 Miyuki seed beads
• 150+ Swarovski pearls, chatons & bicone crystals
• Jewellery tag showing the year of the kit
• Needles and thread
• All packaged with a box you can use to store this years ornament (and also any previous years you have already beaded!)
• World-wide tracked postage (the kits will begin shipping at the end of September)

I'm really excited for this project to begin so that you can all see it. Like previous years the finished piece is an ornament but this year it can be split into some components so it can hang differently, and even be worn as a pendant & beaded chain!
