I headed over to France yesterday with Mr Jean Power and some friends for my mum's birthday and after a ridiculously long journey in the heat with delays we arrived in the French countryside and immediately began to relax.
Today we headed out to a brocante (small village flea market) to look for oddities & bargains and whilst we found none we did find a food stall where we got to enjoy delicious, hot chips & merguez sausages washed down with ice-cold beer. Heaven.
The rest of our day was mainly spent trying to make friends with a tiny, cute and very nervous feral kitten.
