California 2016 - Day 4

Another lovely day at Creative Castle and today's class is Sticks & Stones.

I work hard when designing my projects to make them as versatile as possible and some basic methods of doing this are to make pieces which are reversible or whose components are interchangeable, or in the case of these projects, both.

Each component is reversible and they are strung so that you can simply turn the whole pieces inside-out and have a different look. You can then restring them to mix the sides and have more variations and so on.

Today I managed to get a chance to begin a new variation on which all 4 sides are different so that with some restringing all 4 sides can be shown. But with a bit more restringing then you can mix-and-match the sides for endless variations.

After class some of us went to a local bar to sample some exotically named beers before heading to an Indian restaurant for delicious food - a true English night out in the heat of California!
