Today is sadly my last day in Germany and the project is my Pretty Peacocks.

A real treat when I travel is getting to catch-up with friends and beaders who I only see away from home and one of these is the very talented Susanne Sturm. I previously met Susanne in 2012 and her talent and sense of design has always stayed with me so it was wonderful to get to see her again, and of course to see her beadwork.

Another treat today was to see a finished bracelet from yesterday's class - amazing!

After class it was a mad-dash to the airport to catch my flight home. Fortunately there was a very funny and kind man sat near me who saw how terrified I was and chatted to me - and amazingly he had lots to say on the topic of how quickly the students in Germany had been able to learn the projects and it was great to be able to discuss our ideas on the subject... which I'll return to soon...
