Advanced Stars

I'm spending a lot of time at the moment working with my Geometric Stars, both beading and writing about them.

I'm completely redoing my Stars instructions as it's been over 9 years since I wrote them and in all that time I've been teaching them and have discovered a lot about how people learn how to bead them, what pitfalls they may have and better ways to explain it all. It's a lot of work but I'm aiming for the instructions to be extremely in-depth and comprehensive.

This is something I have done quite a bit already with other instructions and I never think of any of my projects as 'done'. They are always in flux and I am myself always learning more which may mean I come up with a better way to make something, a better way to explain it or even just more variations I want to include.

Part of working on the Stars has led me to re-examine instructions I have also written for more advanced variations on the Stars. There are different variations I have beaded but never written instructions for, a completely different way to bead the Stars which I've never written up as well as lots of things I have discovered about beading which apply to the Stars, as well as other projects. So I'm also now working on an 'Advanced Stars' set of instructions for anyone who wants to take beading the Stars to the next step.

So as a result I'm beading more variations to test those instructions and ensure that what I'm writing is as detailed and informative as possible. So look out for more Stars appearing on these pages...
