A Packed Day

The beading and making up of my Christmas 2015 Secret Kit continues with the counting of the bicones... I haven't broken the bad news to my niece of exactly how many she has to count out as otherwise she'll see it as a Sisyphean task and I may never see her again.

After work today we headed off to choose some jewellery display for me to take to LOOT. Knowing how to display my work and making choices on items and colours wasn't an easy task, these kind of items aren't designed for the big, bold work I do! But we got there in the end and I'm looking forward to setting out the display.

Then it was over to my sister's to drop my niece off and head out for dinner... and fortunately she chose to go to dinner right by The East London Liquor Company so we got to enjoy some delightful gin cocktails to help us wind down from the busy day.

After dinner we had a walk along the nearby canal to enjoy the rest of the day, and some unusual sculptures, before the heavens opened and it poured down - at least we got to enjoy a double rainbow before that happened.
