Planning And Pondering

Sadly at some point this week I messed up my arm injury and am now stuck at home, moping about it.

It's painful, frustrating and debilitating all at once and after suffering from it for 16 years I'm weary of it. It originally began as minor injury but now has become a long-term problem where, with just the slightest of provocation, my bicep tendon dislocates itself and renders me in immense pain and unable to do much with my arm until it goes back in again. I've tried managing it with physio, osteopathy, chiropracty, massage, rest, exercise, spine -realignment, painkillers and much more but I'm slowly realising that I may have to face the terror that is surgery.

Until then I'll keep on keeping on and today I indulged my love of stationary, planning and stickers by putting up a wall chart of next year and colour-coding it so I can see what I'm up to at a glance. Excitingly all my weekends for teaching in 2015 are booked and 2016 is already beginning to get that way.

The planner I bought from a great designer, Sam Osborne, on Etsy after days of trying to choose one. I figured that if I have to look at it for over a year I might as well choose the most beautiful and colourful one I could find.
