In the blink of an eye my life took a quick swerve in a new direction on Monday 16th when an estate agent we invited around to discuss what we needed to do to sell our house announced "nothing" and before we knew it within 3 days our house was sold and we're now looking for a new one.

It feels so strange to have something which has been in our minds for about a decade to be suddenly happening and at a speed we'd never expected.

Of course my mind is full of bead rooms and large kitchens, fortunately Mr Jean Power is more sensible and has his eye out for practicalities.

House hunting is proving to be exhausting, stressful and exciting and it's all we can do at the end of each day to debrief about what we've seen before falling into fitful sleeps as we contemplate the terrifying situation of making such a big decision.
