Peacock Drops

About 4 years ago I made a very basic bicone crystal and headpin pendant for a magazine and ever since then I've wanted to replicate it in seed beads and finally I've managed it.

A few stumbling blocks which put me off for a long time were the issues of weight of the components altering how they lie when worn (and how that affects how they sit together) plus sizing issues both with the actual components, the beads involved and how they fit together.

My first few attempts stayed in my samples box and it is only with recent discoveries through beading other projects, looking at it from a new angle and adding in some different beads that I've been able to solve the issues and it's now a completed necklace.
