After getting up at 4am for my flight yesterday I fell asleep as soon as I got home and when I woke I was so cold and tired it seemed sensible to ignore all the very urgent beading I have to do and instead focus on starting yet another new scarf project.

In the end, when choosing my yarn, I went with teal as the main colour along with a highlight yarn that has lots of grey and teal in it along with flashes of pink and lime.

This is the first project I've ever knitted where the knitting makes sense. For example I can see my stitches, and identify them and different rows. I'm taking this as a very positive sign and also confirmation that I can now buy more yarn with no guilt as I am surely now a knitter.
