Choosing Yarn

posted: Sunday, 01 September 2013

An early start today as I was catching the 6.40am flight home to London and accompanying me is the yarn for the second new project I bought at Glen Gallery Crafts.

I spent most of my two days there trying to narrow down my choices and with the help of all the students I finally made my selection.

It took me the first day to narrow it down to either the pink or the teal for the main colour and then I had lots of highlight colours to choose from.

There was one colour selection that just seemed right as soon as I put them together (it's not shown here) and although I loved all of them that one just seemed to make sense. My decision to go with it was confirmed when a student, who was using great colours, told me she was doing the same project in that selection- that sealed the deal.

Now to actually make the scarf...
