Beaded Strawberries

posted: Monday, 12 August 2013

It may seem like I don't do much beading but there has been a lot going on behind the scenes that I can now show you.

These beaded strawberries began as a geometric beaded bead which I added some embellishment to. As I held it in my hands I got to thinking about how if I narrowed one end, widened the other, added in some little gold beads, devised some leaves and generally completely changed it all, then I would have a strawberry.

Many hours later I have some individual strawberries as well as a strawberry lariat.

The strawberries are definiely advanced to bead and nicely self-supporting and strawberry-sized.

This design is a class which will begin springing up from now so keep an eye out for it or sign up to my newsletter to discover when you can take it.

Also keep an eye out here for the 3 other classes I've been working on...
