I'm back home again and today is a a day for me to catch up with family and learn how to decorate cupcakes.

I have done quite a bit of cake decorating in the past (even though my sisters insist I'm making that up- as soon as I can find the photos they shall have to admit I am pretty much an expert in this area) but not for years.

Our class was courtesy of The Hampstead Cake Company (via a groupon voucher) and took place in The Temperance pub appropriately near Baker Street.

We began practising piping before moving onto working on our cup cakes and into the world of sugar craft where we made a caterpillar and a sheep drinking a cup of coffee (don't ask me).

Much fun was had by all even though I don't think any of us could take it up as a career just yet.
