The third day of class and we're moving onto creating our own purses adorned with bead embroidery.

When planning this class it was important to me that people went home with finished items, or, at the least, an end in sight. So often after a class I pack up and never get a chance to finish what I was working on and I know everyone else does too so I thought it would be nice to alter that for a change.

The purses can be small with little work or large with lots of work- everyone chose their frame and began planning and over the course of the day the pieces started taking shape.

It was exciting to see ideas progress and as no-one in the class had done any bead embroidery before Monday it was great that already they were able to dive right in.

I cheated and am using sequins and leaving lots of my Ultra Suede backing showing.
