Make That A Manic Fortnight

Work on the book is moving ever forward and it's so close I can almost hold it in my hands.

The book has its own ISBN, title, barcode and all the other things that go into a book which I am rapidly learning about.

It has been proofed and reproofed so many times with one last one scheduled for this weekend before the designer spends a while double-checking that all the photos are the high-resolution versions etc and then it heads off to the printers- fingers crossed next Tuesday.

It'll be a good 7 working days before it's back in my hands but that gives me the time to address all the evenvelopes and set the Royal Mail pick-up so they can all be winging their way out to all of you who have ordered ASAP.

If you haven't ordered yet then please be aware that as soon as the book goes to the printer the price will rise slightly (to £35) so if you want it at the current price you only have a few more days left. You can order it here.

I spent 3 days this week sitting in the Fashion and Textile Museum on a graphic design software course but each day my mind was elsewhere so I never remembered to bring my camera. When I came home each night I had to work on the book, right through to 5am one day, so remembering a camera was beyond my capabilites each morning. A shame as there was an excellent exhibition on. If you've never been then I highly recommend a visit, they also have a lovely little shop and a great cafe and across the road is the London Glassblowing Studio if you need more to tempt you.
