Rolling Onwards

I'm off to Torquay today to do a 4-day course with Frances Pickering on making a paper and fabric book. I have longed to do a course with Frances for many years so am really excited to be finally able to do one.

I have packed lots of beading to do on the train and am pleased to say I have made some definite decisions on my new pentagon bangle and it's starting to take shape.

I also managed to tie off the threads on a bold, triangular necklace I've been working on for a while. This will be a project in Contemporary Geometric Beadwork and will show how you don't just need tiny beads to create geometric work but can dive in with larger, less accurate ones and still create lovely pieces. Check out a post on the book's blog to see a question I'm asking about your opinions and advice on thread use. If you have anything you'd like to contribute do contact me and let me know.

This beads and finding to make this necklace will form part of my book kit and I'm now down to the last couple...
