A lot of cocktail people hate maraschino cherries but I adore them. My big jar has run out and seeing as I have some Maraschino in the cupboard, some empty jars and some cherries I figured I'd give making my own a go.

I looked at so many recipes on the internet and in the end decided they were all far too complicated for me so I put my faith in just warming the ingredients together and packing them into sterilised jars. I'll test them in a month or so and see if my lazy method worked.

I also spent a few hours today sorting through and packing up beads for my Contemporary Geometric Beadwork Book Kit. If you want one of these I have to warn you there are less than a handful left and when they're gone, they're gone.
