Cornwall 2012-Day 8

posted: Saturday, 19 May 2012

Today I went for my walk again and this time remembered to bring everything I need to take photos. If you want to see any of the photos I have taken then check them out on my Colour Blog: here, here and here.

Apart from taking photos, one of my main reasons for the walk today was to visit the Silverworks Gallery where I spotted some interesting looking pieces peering through the window yesterday. It was closed then so I thought I would pop back today and treat myself to a pendant. Unfortunately/ fortunately once I was in the shop it all proved very tempting and I left with 3 pendants by Nancy Lou, ceramic cherry and maggot eaten pear by Remon Jephcott, a bangle by Julia Hunter and a copper picture by Louise Gale.

The gallery is well worth a trip if you can get there. The owner, Dee, promotes local artists and even students and the shop is filled with unique pieces.

Made doing the walk twice more than worthwhile.
