Cornwall 2012-Day 1

posted: Saturday, 12 May 2012

Because there hasn't been nearly enough travelling in my life so far in 2012, I've headed out of London for 2 weeks to rest and recuperate in the hopefully very sunny Cornwall.

We try and visit Cornwall every year and although we do so with laptops, piles of paperwork and beading to be done, it's nice to be able to do so looking out of the window at a greener world than at home. Mind you I will miss my little workroom now.

I have brought so much beadwork with me to do but couldn't resist also packing a bit of 'fun' beading to do also. A few months ago when I taught for Beads Gone Wild I bought their Luna Light kit as I wasn't able to resist how colourful it is. I have promised myself that every time I get a piece of 'work' beadwork done, or at least a certain amount, I'll treat myself to beading a bit of the kit. Today as an added treat I let myself start with a bit of the kit to ease me gently into my working holiday.
